Vinesa Jayaselan, Singaporean, was in born in Makati City, Manila in The Philippines and lived there in her early years. At age 8, her family moved back to Singapore where she continued her studies.

She received a diploma in Digital Film and Television in Temasek Polytechnic, Singapore (2015 - 2018). She was a post-production intern at The Flying Kick Asia (June, 2017) and after graduating with a diploma, joined them as an on-set data wrangler as well as co-editor for a long form web series (February, 2019). She freelanced on and off shoots during her course of study and for a year after, taking up roles such as production assistance, data wrangling and editing.

She then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Film, majoring in post production in School of Audio Engineering Institute (SAE Institute) in Brisbane, Australia (2019 - 2021). She did a work placement at Cutting Edge: VFX, Sound and Picture Post under the Media Operations department during their filming of Harrow (Season 3) (October, 2019). She had the chance to work on transcoding and QC-ing dailies from camera test shoots.
 

In 2020 upon return to Singapore and after completing her Degree, Vinesa started work in Protagonist by M, local production house, in the post-production department where she worked on a variety of projects - commercials, corporates, TV Series, digital videos for web and social media.
